Job Accountabilities:

- Network administration (LAN/WAN/VPN)
- Server administration (Linux and Mac OS X Server, Network attached storage systems)
- Service monitoring
- Pre- and post sales support
- Training and consulting for customers
- On-site installation of network camera systems
- Developing and implementing backup strategies
- Developing and maintaining websites
- Software development
- Documentation

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a comparable role
- College or University degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 2 years experience in administration of Windows, Mac OS X and Linux/Unix systems
- 2 years experience in programming (Shell, Python, Objective-C)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel (25%)
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2) and/or Virtualisation technologies
- Certification in MOBOTIX HiRes camera systems an asset
- Experience in VoIP systems (Asterisk) an asset
- Excellent, customer-oriented communication skills
- Bilingual (English/French, English/German)
- Self motivated
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Ability to think logically and analytically
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Drivers License Class 5
- Reliable Car

Location: Rural HRM
Salary is directly related to the experience of the successful candidate ($16-22/hour).
